By Car
From Sapporo Area: Proceed onto National Route 337. Pass Sapporo Oohashi (Sapporo Long Bridge). Turn left at the first traffic signal. Turn right and drive for about 5 minutes. Manyo-no-Yu, Futomi, will be on your left-hand side.
By Taxi from JR Sapporo Station
Approximately 40-minute taxi ride from JR Sapporo Station to Manyo-no-Yu, Futomi. The taxi fare is around 8,000 yen for an ordinary taxi. (No toll roads)
By Foot and Train
From Shin-Chitose Airport: Take the Kaisoku Airport JR Line. Exit at Sapporo Station and change to JR Gakuen-Toshi Line for JR Ishikari-Tobetsu Station or “Hokkaido Medical University”. From there, it will be a 35-minute train ride to “Ishikari Futomi” Station. Exit the train station and Manyo-no-Yu, Futomi is about 5-minute walk . It takes approximately 45 minutes from JR Sapporo Station.
Complimentary Shuttle Bus Services
- Manyo shuttle Bus operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Please look out for the cream-colored shuttle bus with Manyo-no-Yu logo stopping near
“PASEO Parking” located at the North Exit of JR Sapporo Station and also near “IZAKAYA HANABI” opposite side from the TOKO Grocery Store. - Please be aware the shuttle bus leaves at 8:40 a.m. at “PASEO PARKING” and 11:10 a.m. at “IZAKAYA HANABI”. No additional Shuttle Bus services are available. The bus arrives at Manyo-no-Yu, Futomi at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. accordingly.
- The Shuttle Bus leaves daily for Subway Oodori Station at 4:50 p.m. and takes approximately 80 minutes. Advance reservation is required. Please ask at the Front Desk for the details.
- Please refrain from getting on and off the bus outside the designated stops to prevent accidents.
- Depending on traffic conditions, the bus service may be delayed or suspended.
